My Top 10 Bearded Musicians Of 2007 (with Panic! At The Disco members notably absent)~!

Supp Buzznetters and fellow cynics,

After reading the Top 10 Bearded Musicians of 2007, as compiled by Buzznet, I feel compelled to write my own revision of the subject, after coming to the conclusion that whoever penned that list was a complete, and utter failcake. I mean sure, Im a Fall Out Boy fan and all, and I admit to owning a Panic! At The Disco album, but aside from The Troh, none of those lads deserved to have made the list - let alone Pete Wentz having been crowned #1! Come on Buzznet, couldnt you have found a few lads who had actually passed puberty, and exhibited facial hair that had long transcended the bumfluff stage? And on that note, did any other Buzznetter notice that the majority of the bearded spots were allocated to either FriendsOrEnemies members, or affiliates of Buzznet? Regardless, I still love you Buzznet, but I shall present to you my Top 10 Bearded Musicians of 2007~!

10. John Butler - John Butler Trio. Sure, the hair can override the beard in terms of pwnfulness, but John Butler's beard just completes the indie hippy rock look (although don't you dare call him a hippy).

9. Travis McCoy - Gym Class Heroes. So his beard isn't anything too fantabulous, it's not exceedingly long, and it's not an interesting colour. But it's always present, and it's always neat and precisely trimmed ;O

8. Andy Hurley - Fall Out Boy. Ahhh, the infamous mismatched hair and beard ^_^

7. Dimebag Darrell - Pantera. RIP. Okay, so techically he unfortunately wasn't around to make the list in 2007, but I wanna pay homage to this bearded legend - December 8th marked the anniversary of his passing. I hope you're seriously rocking the afterlife dude; I still can't listen to Cemetery Gates without crying =[

6. Dave Grohl - Foo Fighters It's not the longest beard in the world, but he pwns that shit, and he just doesn't look right without it.

5. Bert McCracken - The Used. He's scruffy, and you know you love it. Although with the blonde hair, he resembles a skinny version of Mikey Teutul from OCC @_@

4. Shavo - System Of A Down. Lolol I couldn't be arsed to either attempt to spell his last name, or copy and paste that shizz. Sure, SOAD didn't do a whole lot this year, what with Serj Tankian releasing his solo effort, but the beard is iconic~!

3. Dez Fafara - DevilDriver. His beard is both hair and ink (apparently an homage to supposed Maori heritage?). It doesn't get too much better than that.

2. Joe Trohman - Fall Out Boy. Just had to have this up there - his beard is wonderfully hobo-esque meets Jesus.

1. Wayne Static - Static-X. The beard just compliments the hair wonderfully (who knew such a feat could be accomplished) - and it helps that he saluted me at Gigantour *le sigh* bearded perfection~!

And that, Buzznet, is how it's done. All this beardedness is almost inspiring me to reprogramme my hormone production to grow my own facial hair. Damn you abundance of oestrogen >=O
